This UpEasy Plus Seat Assist is perfect for those who weigh over 100kg, and need some need help to sit down or to stand up from a seat. It is light enough to move from chair to chair, a seat that gently helps lift a person from sitting to standing.
Sitting down: The seat is in an upright position. As you sit on it it gently lowers you- removing the effort required. You land somewhat suddenly- the last few inches give quite fast- but by then you are totally secure, and you very soon get used to it.
Getting up: When you put weight on your feet to get up (a hand on the arms of your chair helps) it activates automatically, lifting up to 70% of your weight (up to 130kg).
It is fully self-powered and doesn’t require electricity – no wires or battery- using a hydro-pneumatic gas spring instead. The patented LeveLift Technology ensures a gentle and safe lift without pushing you forward. At just 4.1 kg, it has a built-in carry handle and even works on most armchairs or sofas. The six weight settings mean it will rise at the right pace for your weight. We supply the UpEasy with a V-Foam (Visco Elastic Memory Foam) cushion which provides excellent pressure relieving qualities as well as offering superior comfort. The seat cover is polyester, fire retardant, waterproof- and fully washable.
