The Lid & Leverage is a brilliant adjustable strap opener – which fits around objects of any shape – all sizes of jars and bottles – it’s even good for jobs round the house, like turning stubborn radiator valves or taps.
Opening a lid is not about strength it’s about grip and leverage. It really works! Watch the videos below…
The strap is made of webbing with rubber woven in. Webbing is strong and won’t stretch, but it is slippery. Rubber grips, but it stretches. Combining these two elements gives us a strong, non-stretch strap that grips exceptionally well. The handle is made with British steel formed for strength. It will give you all the leverage you need to open even a stubborn lid, and it’s also good for lifting caps off beer bottles and popping lid tins.
It’s our most expensive opener, and we think the best. Similar cheaper examples are not nearly as good!
How to use your Lid & Leverage:
- Simply loosen the strap
- Place it over the lid with the lip facing the direction you’d like to twist
- Pull the strap tail to tighten (no need to hold on to the strap)
- Push the handle away from you
- Works for left or right hand
